VIKTORIIA SHAIDETSKA 

My professional career spans singing in church (Catholic, Lutheran, Orthodox), working with choirs, solo performances (Soprano) and teaching students. I have had the privilege of performing music of various genres and eras, portraying a wide range of composers, from Partes, Baroque, Renaissance, Classical and contemporary.

Born and raised in Ukraine, and my passion for music was discovered at a very early age. My journey started with a children's music school, which eventually led me to the Faculty of Musicology (Regent's qualification) at the Academy of Culture and Arts.

Short artistic biography
After training as a regent of church singing (choirmaster), I received an offer to work permanently as a children's choir director and voice teacher at the Music School. There I gained experience working with children of all ages, as well as performing. Later, I worked at the Faculty of Music of Borys Hrynchenko Kyiv Pedagogical University as a choirmaster, conducting and vocal lecturer.
Since 2015,  has shifted  focus from teaching to a solo career, while also advising young singers as a passionate singing teacher. 
Since 2017, I have been a member of choirs in Kyiv (including the Dnipro Choir of Shevchenko University), and since 2022 I have been performing in Europe.
